We will meet at the Eucalyptus Grove in La Jolla. This location is right next to a residential area, but there are no bathrooms nearby so plan accordingly. When you get onto Horizon you will see houses on your right hand side and then the grove on the left hand side. I recommend you park on the side of the street next to the groove. We will meet you there.

Let’s meet by the washing station near tower 10. This is at the far south west end of the parking lot. If you click on "get directions", it will take you directly to this spot. This Parking lot is a paid lot. It is $3-6 on weekdays and up to $15-20 on weekends. The machine does take cash and credit. Our feet will definitely get wet and walking around in the sand with shoes can be a mess. So, expect to be shoeless during the majority of your session. You may also want to leave sunglasses in the car and put anything that will be bulky in your pockets into a bag (such as keys, phones, etc).

We love it here! This is a cute little park that has more than meets the eye initially. There are lovely shaded trees, a cute bridge, and a fun little trail to walk down.
I recommend parking in the parking lot as soon as you enter. Warning! There is a playground right by the parking lot and there isn’t really any way to avoid it. Once you park, send us a text and head over to the walkway with white pillar archways to the left of the playground. You will probably see these when you drive in, so check out the left hand side right before you reach the parking lot. Awesome news about this locations, there is a bathroom! It’s a park bathroom, but a bathroom none-the-less.

There is a paid parking lot right at the beach, metered street parking, and a parking lot just east of the beach where all the restaurants at the harbor are. I will meet you right at the rock jetty on the north side. More than likely our feet will be getting wet, so expect to take your shoes off. Please bring something to put your items into so nothing is in your pockets, this will help keep your photos looking great. Text me when you get there.

Ahhh, our favorite family beach. We absolutely love this iconic San Diego spot. The warm breezes, the gentle waves, and the beautiful pier scream San Diego sunshine to us. Now, let’s talk about getting to your session!
We typically just type in “Caroline’s Seaside Cafe by Giuseppe” into our fave map app, since that brings you closest to our meeting spot. Click Here For Directions.
Parking can be a little bit difficult here so we suggest you leave plenty of time. You can pay to park in the lot next to Caroline’s seaside cafe at the intersection of El Paseo Grande and Kennel Way. Just be sure to be mindful of the post parking regulations as it is college parking lot and sometimes is only open to students. Another option is to park on El Paseo Grande and walk over to parking lot.
Now that you are there, lets meet up at the entrance to the parking lot right before Caroline’s. That way we can walk over together!

This is truly one of our favorite places. This location has beautiful cliffs and stunning ocean access. There is a stair case to contend with so it may not be best for people who have a hard time with mobility. It is a fun and beautiful location for families, engagement and maternity sessions. We’ve even down vow renewals here.
Street parking can be a bit of a bear here so give yourself plenty of time. I typically am able to find a spot relativity close but with any beach visit, you need be a bit patient and maybe prepare for a little coastal walk. I promise it will be worth it. This is my favorite spot to throw families into the water (depending on tide and current) and let them enjoy each other at the end of the session.
