Do you love your kid’s art, but hate the clutter? Us too. Let us help.

I absolutely hate throwing away my kid’s art…

I mean, not all of it, some of it can go straight into the trash can without a second thought, but then there are those few pieces that pull on your heart strings for whatever reason. I never knew what to do with them until I decided they would be really cool additions to the photos I am already taking of my kids! I’d love to help you save them as well.

So what do you we need to do to work together? First, you need to pick one (or more) drawings, paintings, etc and take a really clear picture of it on your cell phone. Try your best to have minimal shadows in the picture because that will impact the way the final image looks. Second, think about how you would like to incorporate the art into a photo of your child. If you want to replace the sky with a rainbow, or add in a house behind the fence or a monster chasing them, those all will have requirements for the base photo. That is something we can chat about! There is something else to consider, if you are trying to use an image you purchased from a professional photographer, I will need to have permission from the original photographer, otherwise it could be copyright infringement. It is easiest if you take the photo yourself and you will need to certify that it is your personal image while signing the contract, if not then we will have a few additional steps.

The final product will combine the photo with your child’s artwork in a way consistent with your vision while maintaining my creative freedom to make changes are necessary to create the most cohesive piece possible. Simple pieces such as a sky replacement in the above image start at $50 and as the project becomes more complex (such as adding a few drawings into different parts of the image), the price will increase. This will all be discussed and agreed upon prior to the contract being signed and the photoshopping work starting.
